Pen Repair (second edition) by Marshall and Oldfield is a big improvement on the first edition, with better binding and 70 more pages. Many more pens are discussed, mainly by high definition photographs of dismantled pens and the sections on techniques have also been enhanced.

I got my copy yesterday in the mail and wanted to affirm what Easterner said. The amount of information packed into those 250+ pages is impressive; the fact that it's heavily illustrated helps a lot. I'm now fighting the urge to take vacation days from work so that I can immerse myself in it. Perhaps someone should do a full-fledged review?

Just ordered my copy this morning... Fountain Pen Hospital stocks it as well for a few bucks more than Mottishaw. Wish I would have checked Nibs.com before I hit "place order" on FPH...

 

Ah well... wanted to order a few of their "Exclusive FPH" inks anyhow.
