I am reducing these one last time in an effort to generate a little cash flow and pay a few bills.

Both pens are in perfect working condition and come with converters

1: Namiki (Pilot) Custom 72 in nearly mint condition. This is a true beauty, and you don't see many of them around. The pen has a beautifully etched cap and barrel and the trim is perfect. It is a cartridge-converter filler and has a large capacity Con-70 converter installed. The pen dates from the early 70's and is one of the earliest pens in Namiki's Custom line. The Pilot #10 14K nib is a very smooth, firm Japanese fine $350 NOW $310 Final $270

2: Pilot Custom 743 in beautiful, luxurious black with gold trim. I will probably never forgive myself for selling this pen, and the Custom 72 above for that matter, but I am trying to fund a couple of other purchases so here we go. The pen is near mint. No scratches, blemishes, bite marks or other flaws. It is a cartridge-converter filler and comes with an installed Con-70 converter. It sports the wonderfully soft (dare I say flexy) FA nib and is a wonderfully smooth writer. $325 NOW $290 Final $260

That is all for this listing... I prefer PayPal for payment. Shipping charges as follows... I ship for a flat $4.80 via Priority Mail in the US. I will chance first class if you really want to try it for $2.50, but I have had a couple get lost over the last few months and would prefer not to.

International buyers will receive their pen via either Global Priority Mail for a flat $13.00 or may opt for Express Mail at a flat rate of $25, Prices slightly lower for Canada. If you prefer registered mail (which may be safer) the rate is approximately $18 globally.

I will happily provide additional photos if you need them, and I am happy to answer any questions.

I received the Namiki Custom 72 in today's mail. The pen is in beautiful condition, just as described.

Thanks, John!

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
