Up for sale are some pens that come from a brand not very well known, but the pens are fantastic! These pens are all handmade in Taiwan, including the Urushi by Artist Lishu Huang. Its a brand that is not really anywhere in the states. The nibs are made by the German Company WIN.

The pens come with my guarantee of quality as well as any nib issues will be supported by Mike It Work. Nib customization will also be available with a max 2 week turn around including shipping to Mike and back. Most of the time its faster, but this gives some room. For any nib grinding, please add $40 to the price.

Are the nibs/feeds threaded so that they can be screwed in and out? If so, is the threading standard compatible with IPG, Stipula etc.? Also are the pens c/c fillers or ED or both?

These are very nice looking pens for sure!

They do screw out, but I dont know if a Stipula would fit it. I know Viscontis unit is too large to fit it.

I was talking about this with someone earlier today in person. We both thought they could be, at least the Horn and Classic ones. I have an inked Classic and I will try it out tomorrow and report back.

I tested one of them last night. No ring, just a bit of silicone grease, and filled it it up with ink. No leaks or issues so far. So, for the classic pens and horn and ED would work.

OK, so I have lots of positive responses to these pens, but the main concerns have been the price. So I spoke with the makers of the pens and convinced them to work with me on the prices. So I have taken some of my margin and they have taken some of theirs in order to get this brand into peoples hands.

Below will be the new pricing.

 

 

All the Classic Urushi pens will be $695 for pens with gold nibs and $525 with Steel nibs.

 

This is the Classic Eggshell/Snowflake- will be $595 with and 18 Gold Nib and still $495 with a Steel Nib.

 

The two versions of Horn Pens will be $450 and with a Steel Nib for it will still be $250.

 

The Harmony Line will be $125.

I have the Opus 88 Vermillion Lacquered pen which is reminiscent of the Japanese Negoro Nuri. The 18k M nib is a true western Medium with excellent flow and very smooth. The lacquer finish is absolutely first rate. I have my eyes on the Starry pen next. No affiliation with either parties, just a satisfied user.
