I know it offers no comfort, but as a student of history I can assure that it is an experience common to every generation throughout time.

Yeah, those of us who have studied well, know about rules that our world develops on a spiral. Let's hope that this spiral is endless.

Amazing work as usual!

Very nice. I like it.

Can't find the time or energy to do anything remotely artistic myself at the moment.

But the sky will always come to me.™

Yeah, me neither.  Having enough trouble fighting my way through some of this year's NaPoWriMo prompts.  Plus spent way too much time this afternoon after having the bank branch we have our checking account with and the corporate customer service department pointing fingers at each other.... 😡 😡 😡

I had ordered two packages of checks recently and when the order came in the mail yesterday I was charged as if I'd gotten those two packages (but ONLY got two books of checks).   For possibly more than I'd previously paid for TEN books of checks (which I'd THOUGHT I WAS  ordering).

Now waiting for a callback from the bank branch manager.   But, as I said to the supervisor of the person on their website's chat window -- it was ALREADY pretty much past the bank branch's hours of being up open when I tried CALLING their customer service #.... (and, of course, it's now after 5 PM ET) and I FULLY expect there to be more finger pointing coming up.  But I flat out told the second person in customer service that the person who's going to soon be pointing fingers is ME.  Only, *I* will be pointing fingers at them to the FTC AND the consumer division of the Attorneys General for both where their headquarters is and the state where I live (and where the branch we opened the account with is ALSO located).

WTAF?!

@Just J Did you really just call me a "Karen"??  I can't believe that you're that much of an a-hole.  I expect that sort of BS on FB -- NOT on FPN....

Now you're REALLY being an a-hole.  I'll be MORE THAN HAPPY to report your posts.

That is an excellent idea.
And don't forget to report your own posts with the swear words.

But you know what? It would be best if you both argued via PM instead of doing it in public. Thank you.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
