This is one of my favourites: Pelikan Sapphire wash, salt, rice and a bit gold acrylic paint.

N.B.: The Sapphire works terribly in my pens, also the colour is - compared to my Asa-gao - a bit watery. So I have to use it up for washes. Paper is my Canson sketchbook.

Also I made a packing list. Ink is black Sailor nanoink in a Lamy Al-Star in F. The notebook is Canson.

The nanoink does not stay 100% on the paper, depending on the quality, though.

Another "BernARTiner" - a funny art project at the Swiss capital Bern. Bern, art, get it?

Alas, I was not able to track all 102 of them down last Saturday, but I'm sure gonna try.

Agin I used the Lamy Al-Star with the Sailor Nanoink in my Seawhite of Brighton "Chunky".

International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 every year. It commemorates the movement for women's rights.

The earliest Women's Day observance was held on February 28, 1909 in New York when organized by the Socialist Party of America. On March 8, 1917, in the capital of the Russian Empire, Petrograd, women textile workers began a demonstration, covering the whole city. This was the beginning of the Russian Revolution. Seven days later, the Emperor of Russia, Nicholas II abdicated and the provisional Government granted women the right to vote. March 8 was declared a national holiday in Soviet Russia in 1917. The day was predominantly celebrated by the socialist movement and communist countries until it was adopted in 1975 by the United Nations. (Wikipedia) .

Thanks. In this sketch I used my modified chinese pen with my modified Noodler`s flexible nib and Pelikan 4001 violet ink.

A little work on the development of fantasy. I allowed myself to fantasize about the topic of heraldry and coats of arms.

This is not a professional job. There are many controversial points about what should be and what should be not. It's just a fantasy on a free theme

 

This is the first coat of arms since the foundation of the city.

 

 

This coat of arms was in the days of the Soviet Union.

 

 

This is a modern coat of arms since independence.

A series of tourist postcards with views of the city. The sketches are drawn with a fountain pen and B size nib with real size card 1:1 (this thickness is necessary for the silk screen process).
