I wanted to jazz up my blog and website a bit, so my wife worked diligently (she's the web savvy one) and here are the results!

blog: InkNouveau.com

 

Let me know what you think....I'm going for...well....an 'ink nouveau' feeling!! I wanted something a little snazzier than what I had before. :thumbup:

Hi Brian

 

I like blue, but the shop seems a bit... ehhh.... BLUE :yikes:

 

Watch your contrast. You have a fairly thin lettertype, in dark blue on a light blue background. Does not stand out very well. Especially older people will have difficulties reading.

 

By the way, I recently discovered your blog. I like the little tests you do.

My initial reaction: :yikes:

 

A few moments later: I like it. The header may need a little more contrast, as already pointed out, as it can be a little hard to make out.

 

Overall, I like the new colour scheme.

I just watched your demonstration of Exaclair's fountain pen-friendly packing paper. Aw! Very nice! Nice blog. I will peruse it more.

 

I'm not familiar with your website before you changed it, but it looks nice now, fairly easy to navigate.
