I thought that for those of you who are ashamed of your Handwriting should be made aware of the fact that the

Great Man of India Mr Mahatma Gandhi had very bad Hand writing, he did try to mend his ways,as a result he began to teach that "bad handwriting is a sign of imperfect education, he promoted the use of Fountain Pens, schools

began to use them to perfect proper handwriting.India has always been against the cost of over priced Fountain

Pens. One of these sellers is The Fountain Pen Revolution. Please spare the time to examine their Website for very affordable Pens.

Horrible..I feel like my hand writing these days are ugly maybe because I don't write anymore. I more comfortable to type than to write but I want to improve and bring back my good writing skills again.

You can do it. I stopped writing cursive in eighth-grade and three years ago I started to teach myself cursive again. My printing was pretty bad, but the after working on cursive, I discovered dip pens, the firmer every-day Steel dip pens and I was in love.

If I can, you can too. Find an examplar you like, and don’t be afraid of mixing and matching letters. And then practice, practice, practice. As you write, and I liked writing while listening to the tv, stop often and critique your writing. Look out for spacing, consistency and sizing.

Good luck, and come back and show us the progress!

Justin..Welcome Aboard....Enjoy your time here.....The followin' advice should suffice

there is something classic about taking up a pen and scribbling down on a nice notebook, something about reading a hand written love letter (as opposed to a love letter email?).

We want to remind you again about that beauty of writing, and we want to encourage you to never stop doing so. To use pen instead of a stylus. To smell the fresh, crisp leaves of a notebook....when technology fails you, old-school technique is still the one you can depend on.

Never Quit......You Can Do It...................

Still your friend and his..

Keep up the good work! It takes time to work up to a beautiful and consistent script. I find that there are certain words that help with this cadence or rhythm of letters, and you might find that it helps. You may discover words that help with learning the transitions between letters.

My words and reasons:

osmosis - trains your transitions from your s's

titanium - trains your vertical stroked letters: t, i, n, u, m

aluminum - same for titanium

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
