How to check ink level

Hi all

 

I just received my first pelkian pen, an M805. I filled it with ink but cannot see the level. I had assumed that the areas between the stripes would allow em to see levels (as the windows do in my MB), is thos correct?

That's right. It should let you see the ink level.

You won't be able to see that until the ink level becomes low.

If you just filled it there may be no air to let light shine through--so you may not see anything--once you use some ink then hold it up to the light and you should see the ink level.

Hold it parallel to the floor, and in front of a bright light source, and you will see the level. Holding the pen upright only allows you to see the ink level when it is lower.
