Cross C Series

Well I just got the wife a Cross C Series pen.

I snapped few photos with my MB 149 for size comparison. First off I think the clip is awesome. IT is sprung so you don't get any bending when it is clipped to a pocket. The side to size motion on the clip may be weak but we'll find out. The medium steel nib is stiff but accurate with minimal flex.

The strong point for this pen is the body. It seems to be all metal and has a nice dark chrome coating with dimples that add character. The end seem seems a little weird shaped to me but it allows the cap to post very well with a audible and tactile snap. Speaking of tactile, every movement from screwing on the cap to posting the cap has a very machined and tight fit.

I'm running MB white forest green through the pen now and I really like it.

Good solid pen, good buy, and great price.

hi. thanx for the review!

steel nib, you say? i thought these were 18k...

this is waht they ad:

Turbo-charged performance meets cutting-edge design. Industrial design detailing and finishes inspired by fine sport cars give this pen a high-tech look: chrome lug-nut appointments, rhodium plated solid 18kt gold nib, twist-off cap and rubberized front section on Fountain Pens.
