Not sure if covered elsewhere here today, but a great closeout by Office Max starting today on the Blue Phileas FP kit with the ink bottle, converter and cartridges for $9.99 and the Blue ballpoint for the same. I was able to snag a couple of each at two of the three locations I visited today. They did this about 2 or 3 years ago also. They were already marked down to $19.99 and I stumbled upon a coupon download at the web site which took it down further. I thought it would be more informative here vs. the Waterman forum.

Wow -- what a deal! On these rare occasions I wish we didn't live in such a rural area as there is no nearby Office Max. The offer doesn't seem to be online, right? I will live vicariously through your great fortune mgepark.

I would have to know very quickly, but I could pick up however many my store has and mail them to people. I'm not sure on the shipping cost, but it shouldn't be much.

 

It looks like a great deal, as I see the kit for over $50 normally elsewhere online.

Ijustine picked up the last one they had at any of the four officemax locs near me. Thanks so much for the PDF as well it was $10.56 out the door. Amazing deal!

Picked up two - store closest to me had none but they checked around and found some at another store; then they called and asked the other store to hold for me. Great customer service.

 

I really appreciate the head's up on this. I've been meaning to pick up a Phileas for quite some time.

There never was a body that give the undertaker a tip.

Thanks for posting this. I came in from a movie, saw the posting, and was back out the door immediately. The Office Max in my neighborhood still had at least a dozen sets after I bought my limit of two. It's a great deal-a Waterman Phileas, a bottle of Waterman ink, a converter, 5 ink cartridges, a cleaning cloth and two blotter cards for $9.99 plus tax.

Checking in from Durham, NC. Our branch was out of stock. Went to Apex, where they had 3 in stock. Bought my limit of 2. Looking forward to attending my first meeting of the Triangle Pen Club tomorrow. w00t!
