I got a five pack of a 5x8 or something Fibre ivory notepads. AWESOME paper. The Staples eco-friendly stuff? It's alright, not bad for 70c.

I've used the Ampad Evidence line legal pads and engineers computation pads; they work well for notes and casual sketches -- I might not use them for formal correspondence.

I use Ampad Gold Fibre in both white and antique ivory. Nice and smooth with little feathering usually. It does allow a bit more bleed-through than I prefer but not bad. I use the Staples Eco-friendly (sugar cane) more, however.
