Pelikan Tiffany Atlas 817 fountain pen - Mint NOS

Hi, This is a really special pen. This is the Tiffany Atlas Fountain Pen made by Pelikan. Pelikan called it the 817 (800 size). These were made in 1990 and the run was about 1000 pens. They were only sold through Tiffany & Co. and they are fairly scarce now. I have a few BRAND NEW unused ones. They all have medium 18kt gold nibs. Some of the unique features of the pen are the special clip, faceted gold ring between the piston knob and

barrel and faceted tassie at top of cap, Tiffany & Co. engraving on the cap band and on the top of the cap and special Tiffany & Co. 18kt gold two-tone nib. The pen is new in simple Pelikan sleeve box. Tiffany put them in their standard Tiffany & Co. blue box, but these are ones the distributer still had and they hadn't made it to Tiffany for the Tiffany box yet. I almost never call a pen an investment but this could be one as unusual Pelikan pens and Tiffany items are one place you do see a increase in value over time, and this is both.
