Ray, I am guessing but I think the internal parts have come out from inside the nib section, therefore avoid would be my advice.

PS Or you could send the guy an email?

Well, it's not my sort of buy anyway, but I was curious. I'm not convinced we're looking at a conventional feed there; 75 nibs are usually pretty firmly attached to their feeds.

If you look at this web page from www.parker75.com: http://www.parker75.addr.com/Reference/Sec...ploded_view.htm,

you can see that it is possible for the top of the feed, (where the converter is connected with it), to be somehow stuck (dried ink?) in the converter and be broken away from the bottom of the feed (where the nib is attached).

In many e-bay auctions the statement "Filler system is working perfectly" does not mean that the pen works fine. In this case, if the assumption above is correct, it may mean that even if the pen can draw few lines after filling, it may have problems once you continue writing.

Hi Ray,

The problem is the seller misdiscribed the pen. The picture shows a Parker VP, not a 75. The Vp's were the forunner to the 75.
