Great brick and mortar pen store in KC MO

Today my husband, son and I took a little jaunt to Kansas City, Mo. While there we like to stop at the Crown Center and visit the Pen Place. An excellent pen shop with many brands of pens. Parker, Waterman, Visconti, Mont Blanc, Lamy, Conway Stewart, Pilot, Sailor, Pelikan, Cross and the list goes on!

I tell my husband I feel like a kid in a candy shop when I go there!

 

The owner is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about his stock of pens, inks, paper etc. He even recognized us from a previous visit over two years ago! All my pen purchases so far, have been through the internet, but I would love to live closer to a brick and mortar store, such as this one, as it's a much more pleasant experience to hold the pens and write with them before you buy. I didn't make any pen purchase today (at my limit for the present), however, I did purchase some ink which is the next best thing to a pen purchase for me!

+1. My re-introduction to fountain pens (a Waterman Exclusive) was purchased here several years ago. Great store indeed.

I definitely have it on my list, but I predict that I'll spend more money than I had planned since they have that many brands.
