Lamy 2000 Desk Stand

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a Lamy 2000 desk stand for my 2000. I know they offered them previously. They were like a block with two or one holes drilled on each side I believe that you could stick the 2000 in to use as a desk pen? I wish I had a picture but I can't even seem to find one of those!

Does anyone have a line on one.

I know this is not the WTB forum, but it would seem to make sense to say if you have one you are willing to sell to PM me.

Thanks!

If you find them, let me know! I'd love to have a 2000 desk stand.

I've seen them spring up on eBay from time to time, but they are not cheap. You could check at http://www.martiniauctions.com/auction/index.php or even e-mail Regina directly. She is very good at sourcing German pen goods.

Is this it? http://www.martiniauctions.com/auction/item.php?id=9442

BPhollin,

That is it! However i was hoping for one in a bit better condition. Man quick find though! I'll keep that one in mind if no others surface.

Well, if anyone swipes that it won't be me - I'm flat busted broke at the moment (stupid car repairs).

The excellent Niche Pens has them in two sizes and seems happy to ship worldwide. If we had all been snappier we might even have one one in a caption competition.

Don't think that's the right link?

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.

Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
