I own one of these pens. It's super dependable, rock solid and lays down a line that is neither too wet or too dry. If you like pens on the larger size, the M800 is worth investigating.

After doing lots of homework, the first nice pen I plan to buy is the M800. I know it's a larger pen, but I hope it fits my hands okay (I'm 6'1" with larger hands). I have a few Parkers (Sonnet and two Frontiers), but looking forward to using the Pelican and hoping it will be my main workhorse pen at work. I do have a quick question for the OP (or anyone who uses the "M" series at work). If you need to quickly write a note, do you find the number of barrel threads excessive when trying to get the cap off quickly? One person asked about the comfort of holding the pen with the location of the barrel threads, so I take it this is not an issue with a proper and normal grip, right? It's too bad the photos were removed (somehow), because I'd like to see how it wrote with whichever nib it had. I'm thinking of an EF nib for work. Does the OP find this nib size ideal for general use? Thanks.
