Diamine Scarlet

I saw that this ink was on the 'still to be reviewed' list, and seeing as I was gifted a bottle by my good friend and fellow FPNer, GreenVelvet, I thought it only right that I should share this colour with you.

As you can see from the scans, this colour is very far from scarlet, IMO, and I would rename it 'hot pink' or 'neon pink'.

 

It has all the great characteristics you would expect from a Diamine ink, although it certainly took its time to dry on the Habana paper. Dry times on the Conqueror paper were a lot quicker.

 

Personally, I really love the colour and have been looking for something like this since I started my FP journey a few years ago. It is really intense, the downside of this being that it is short on shading, but I don't feel that this detracts from the ink too much.

Conclusion: a fantastic colour, which I love, although I bet it isn't for everyone! However, a full page may be retina scarring!

Yep - it's definitely a ray-ban kind of colour, but really girly, so I love it!

Levenger Pinkly was my original choice, but it went out of production just as I came across it.

I'm really enjoying my P51 loaded up with this; as I say in the OP, it's very girly, but I love it.

I hope my snailers don't mind too much, but this has become one of my colours for the summer, along with Diamine Steel Blue and Violet.
