Sharpie pen... a good alternative

My wife bought a 10-pack of these Sharpie pens at a big-box store some time ago. She loves them. I'm not a marker person but they're pretty good, I suppose.

Glad to know there are other sharpie pen lovers out there. I have a bunch in both medium and fine tip, stick and retractable. My only beef is that the mediums do bleed thru standard notebook paper and the retractables tebd to write with more of a grayish brown than a black. The plunger also looks comical and cheap.

Sharpies make me dizzy.

I recently received a Pilot Varsity with a pen order from CPD, a freebie, that is a disposable fountain pen. It's fairly nice, if I may say so, though I don't care for the disposability of it.

That's my great great uncle Charlie and his merchandise.

I didn't like the original Sharpie pen, as it is more like a craft pen. The "grip" version is much better.

That said I got a Staedtler(sp?) TriPlus fineliner and it beats both. Best porous point out there.

Sharpies make me dizzy.

They're for writing, not sniffing! :headsmack:

A few years back, I got a white sweater just so I could draw all over it with coloured sharpies. A few hours in I realized that it was not healthy to be doing that in a small room...
