Nice to see another review of the M90. It's great to see that other people are enjoying this pen as much as I do!

Very nice review!! For a second review it is chock full of useful information. Plus your handwriting is extremely nice, keep it up!

Thank you! I enjoy writing the reviews! I hope to add a few more over the weekend.

I appreciate the complement on my writing as well--I have a bad habit of fluctuating between print/cursive and upper/lower case. As I write more for readability, I hope that I will naturally begin to be more consistent.

Pax vobiscum,

Thanks for the review. The more we have on the M90 the better. :)

Btw, could you please resize your images? Their posted dimensions are 1600x1200px. We strongly encourage people to size images no wider/longer than 800px. Not all browsers handle auto-resizing the same way. Images as large as yours end up causing horizontal scrolling, negatively impacting the usability of the review. Also, remember that not all of our membership is on high speed Internet. Images this size are slow to load. Reducing the dimensions along with good file compression will be a big improvement. Thank you!

No problem! I'll work on re-sizing this evening when I get home.

Very nice review and spot on accurate in your observations! When I got my M90, the cap was stuck so tightly I couldn't get it loose. Had to put it in the freezer for about thirty minutes, then dip it about 10 times in boiling water. After that I held it with a towel and pulled with all my might. Third pull it came loose--the tight fit must've been caused by its long flight from Japan and the jostling about. I have the fine nib on my M90 and it's a marvelous writer!

Many thanks for your review!

Good review.

I have a medium nibbed version but I have to say I think I prefer the the orignal. While I still love the design and wonder at its ingenuity, I find the springiness in the cap a little annoying and (this could be the medium nib) the line variation fairly minimal.

  • 7 months later...

Lovely pen. Just ordered it not long ago and I'm hoping to pick it up at the post office tomorrow. Couldn't resist it, especially when it's a limited edition.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
