Overview – TACCIA Ukiyo-e Kuniyoshi inks The third edition of the TACCA Ukiyo-e series has just been released, this time inspired by the works of the artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi. This new series is part of TACCIA’s ongoing celebration of Japanese woodblock art. A first collection of Ukiyo-e inks inspired by the artists Hokusai and Sharaku was released in 2020, followed in 2021 by a second set based on woodblock art by the artists Hiroshige and Utamaro. These new Kuniyoshi inks are mostly of the dark-x variety – i.e. dark-toned black-infused colours that totally fit my taste.
