This is a short review of Inoxcrom Wall Street Steel. After purchasing the Corinthian, made as well by Inoxcrom, I come across with an offer of Sirocco and Wall Street together. Both of them had Daily Telegraph “T” logo. I find out the pens was prizes of the newspaper back in the early 2000’s, on the crossword page. I’m not bothered with the logo, on the Wall Street is on the cap’s barrel below the clip. 1. Appearance/Design 10 A very simple and effective design, large size pen, ending in tapered finials with black jewel; also has electroplated gold clip and section ring imprinted: INOXCROM – SPAIN. 2. Construction/Quality 9 It’s made from steel with brushed finish. It seems to be very robust, made to last many abuses. The section is very interesting, made from a plastic that look like rubber, with some holes and tapered to get an easy grip. It has a long and strong pocket clip. Cap is snap on, there’s no threads to interfere with gripping position. The section has an O-ring when the barrel screw securely back on. 3. Weight/Dimensions 10 It is a large pen, but somehow feels light, kind of how Parker flighters feel! It is well balanced, and I like to use it unposted. Weight: Whole pen – 34G Uncapped -22G Cap only – 12G Dimensions: Capped – 14.4CM Body -12.9CM Cap – 5.8CM Posted – 16.3CM Grip diameter – 1.0CM 4. Nib/Performance N/A This one came with bent nib, not usable. I had replaced with JoWo #6 fine nib. I had an attempt to straighten the original nib, it can be used now, but I will stick with the JoWo for time being. So, like a normal fine JoWo nib it writes as expected. 5. Filling system/Maintenance 9 This is a standard C/C pen, easy to take out the nib and feed, easy to maintain, I’m happy with this. 6. Cost/Value N/A In my case, the acquisition cost is irrelevant. I have purchase the 2 pens way too low! On EBay, the Wall Street can be purchased for about £25-45, depending on the finish. Definitely is worth the money, even on the regular EBay prices! It is in the same price range with Lamy Safari, Pilot Metro, but way better. 7. Conclusion 9.5 Being a large pen, well designed and built, well balanced, easy swap nibs for alternative #6 ones...plus a decent price range it makes this pen a very good acquisition!
