Hello Georges,

thank you for this interesting review. I actually didn't know of the existence of French made Parkers in the 40s/50s. I have a Junior UK Duofold that is a nice writer.

I see that yours is a button filler: is it like the AF on the UK Duofolds? The ink window is a nice addition, but still the price look steep for the pen. Other differences I see are the blind cap jewel and the tri cap band (nice!).

 

I add a pic for comparison.

I also have a junior aerometric duofold the same like yours but mine is made in France, it is written on the barrel made in France and the nib is a 18cts nib not a 14cts nib like on the English Duofold.

The price for my pen was justified because it was new old stock item and it has also a very uncommon nib: a flexible medium oblique.
