Thank you for the review -- I am currently looking for a dark green. Do you have any experience on how the colour stands up when using different pens?

I think the color holds out pretty well in other pens. The finer nibbed pen will probably end up being a bit lighter, show a bit more green than this one. (i.e. the symphony I sent you, will probably show up lighter green). Overall I think the color holds pretty true throughout.

The swab contrasted with the writing samples is strikingly different! My bottle performs somewhere in between, though I'd never consider this a near-black. I've even tried mixing a (slight) bit of black to it to make it readable after being wet, and even then it still is not a near-black, coming from a wet nib like a L2K. Sequoia, on the other hand, is nothing but a near-black.

 

I like this ink, but I think I like Green Marine better.
