Conway Stewart Blue

I wrote several of the pens in my last rotation dry and had to ink a few more this evening....so of course that means a few more mini-reviews.

The usual caveat: I scanned the mini-reviews so colors may vary depending on your monitor. I'm limited to posting 600pix wide images here, but click on the image or the link below it to view the full-size image. The full-size image may give a better, sharper representation of the color.

Note: This one is called Conway Stewart Blue not "Royal Blue" like I wrote in the mini-review.

This ink is simply TOO LIGHT for me. I purchased a bottle about 18 months ago in my never-ending quest for the perfect blue. I was disappointed when I first used it.

Yep...it's too light. I've been mixing it with Noodler's Aircorp BB or Tahitian Pearl or Legal Lapis to get the green out. It's a light blue, but it seems to do trick in counterbalancing the green in those inks.
