No, I used the traditionnal waterman midnight blue ink. It is a great quality and affordable ink

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

This is a good review, georges. I agree that the 1920's Duofold Seniors are very good writers. They have a unique size and feel that I love. I have Seniors in red, green and black and I so wish I could afford one in lapis!
