Delta "Inchiostro Classico"

This ink came to me as a bit of a mistake - I started off ordering a bottle of Delta Blue from Websters, but they ended up sending me this one. I kept it anyway since it's a nice, curious break from the usual blacks and blues.

It doesn't appear that many people have used/seen this ink before, so I'll just write a few lines about it.

The main text is rendered with the Delta "Classic Ink" with 5 pens: Lamy Safari M, B, Italic 1.5mm, Pilot Elite Long/Short EF and a Hunt 101. Pics of the bottle and packaging at the bottom.

Apologies for the queer contrast.

I was given a bottle of this ink recently. The box is peculiar and the bottle is unique. Haven't tried inking any pens though, as I'm hoping to find out more.

it's certainly a unique looking bottle. and with sepia brown as one of my favorites, though i prefer a darker shade. it might look better on a white/cream colored paper.

Doesn't that bottle look like one-half of a rocker blotter?

I just received a bottle of this ink (minus the funky bottle shown here) with a Delta 20th Anniversary LE. The ink is a light brownish colour. Quite pleasant.

I've always suspected me being at least partially colourblind, and I thought that might have contributed to my difficulty in seeing the colour of this ink, but I guess I'm not the only one here, lol. The bottle reminds me a bit of J. Herbin bottles. :puddle: Great looking, but I'll have to try out my Cafe des Iles to see how functional it actually is.

Interesting looking ink. Google turns up nothing, so I'm wondering if anyone knows where you can get this ink. Thanks.
