Nice review. I personally don't like my Lamy blue cartridge ink, but I accidentially like punctured it or whatever when I was trying to take it out and use my converter...

I was recently going through some year-old papers, and I found that many of the pages I had written with a Lamy blue ink cartridge had faded significantly. I could still read them all, but it took some effort. In general the paper was fairly cheap copy paper (Corporate Express brand) and notebook paper (Mead brand, I think). These pages were never exposed to sunlight, but they did spend some time under fluorescent office lights.

I think the paper plays a significant role here. I have some notes taken with a Lamy Nexx M and Clairefontaine paper that have faded significantly, same pen, same cartridge box but cheap office paper and they are still there. Guess this ink is tailored to the school market and does its best on non-glossy paper.

I happen to have my Safari inked with this right now. To my eye, there's something ho-hum about it. Great review, definitely accurate and consistant with my own experience.
