Green and washed out. The ink is lubricating but I don't find that it lubricates more than Noodler's black, which has a nice saturated color.

I see no "green" in mine.

 

What is intended with the comparison to a Black ink?

 

Would a comparison to a lubricating Blue ink be appropriate?

I used this ink for some time and check your paper in id say 3 years and it will be a different color. Pure garbage in my opinion.

I actually quite like the Waterman Blue-Black - a sufficiently "pro" color to not offend anyone, and still not the common "black" or "blue". In my playbook, that and the Waterman Havana Brown are my most used "everyday writing colors"...
