Recife Traveller

First off I apologize for the large pix. For me they are perfect but I use a flat screen

19” monitor here at home and dual 21” flat panels at work. So I know it must

be annoying reading my reviews if you are a laptop user and or have a dial-up

modem on top of it. Let me know.

This is my short review.

Bought from www.prestigepens.com in CA about 7 years ago.

With shipping around $90.

Do not know if two-tone nib is still available. www.recife.fr shows steel nib now.

Possibly the cheapest pen with a 18k two tone nib?

Pen comes from the Amber line and the model is called the Traveller. One of the smallest in the Amber line.

Smooth pen….a tad smoother than my Conklin Nozac but not smoother than Omas

Mezzo or Visconti Van Gogh. Starts most of the time but never skips.

Owner: Wife’s pen, to small for me. A little longer than a Pelikan 600 series pen

but way thinner. Very small narrow nib with little flex.

If pen shows interest I will provide writing samples when I get a chance.

Scott.

Thanks for the pictures! And what a nice looking pen. (But it looks like you accidentally labeled your Visconti as a Pelikan).

Sorry about that Scott. The last picture never loaded last night, so I did associate the label with the one above it.
