yep, a fave green! elegant, soothing, quite often shading. perfect everyday note taking green. it has come to live in my lamy 2k (xf) since i first bought it.

 

scans above are about perfect truthwise.

Today I got 3 bottles of this ink (and some Aurora black too) as part of my ritual before the school year begins: getting notebooks and other stationery.

 

After many years using blue ink I became a black ink guy 4 years ago or so although I also use MB blueblack in some pens and moods.

 

Nevertheless, being a teacher I also need another ink colors to check my students essays, homework and all that. I've read about red ink as not very suitable to add corrections to your students; it seems self-steem doesn't work with this color. To tell you the truth, I don't know how much credit should I give to this statement, for me it's a cheap excuse to get more inks.

 

I like this ink a lot, although I may not use it with my students since it's not a bright green (I'll use waterman green for that), but I think I'll use it for my personal use. This ink is to green what MB blueblack is to blue (colorwise, that is). I'm using it in a Lamy Alstar with EF nib. The pen is a wet writer with a stubish nib which gives very nice shadowing.

 

There's something elegant in this color, and it won't look odd in a journal filled with black ink pages. You can check it in the OP review. From time to time I like to use a "fancy color" either because of my mood or just for the heck of it.

 

In short, another great ink from a well reputed manufacturer; you won't regret getting some of it... or Poussiere de Lune, or Café des Isles or...

I have a bottle of this (VE) on order, decided to get this rather than MB racing green since it seems to be going away...

 

I wish my Vert Olive looks like it does in your scan. Mine shows at about 50% of the brightness/density of yours, regardless of what pen I use. Your scan looks like I hoped this ink would look when I bought it. Sigh...

Well, the scan is not mine, but my ink looks very much like the one in the pics. Of course, paper, nib... will count, but I think you'll like it.

I thought about getting this ink but my intuition told me otherwise. My little voice is always right for me and she told me to go with the Emerald from Diamine.

Used with one of my Imperials, I get a fabulous green so close the your last pic.

Umber is the other one, like your first pic.
