I bought this ink from www.XFountainPens.com, with whom I have no affiliation. I also bought their cobalt ink and a fountain pen. I wrote the review with the pen (it seemed like a good idea at the time). Rumour has it that the ink is rebranded Diamine. I haven't used Diamine ink in a very long time, so I can't say.

The ink is quite scarlet when wet, but dries to a slightly more restrained version of the same. My scan made it a bit more garnet than it appears to the naked eye. It is very close to the red of an adult male cardinal. This is an ink that leaves no room for doubt as to its redness. It is not quite the Platonic ideal of red, but it's trying very hard to be.

Thank you for introducing a new brand of inks -at least to me-, is always interesting to know new makers.
