Levenger Blue Bahama

Inka

Recommended Posts

Someone had once asked for a scan of this ink.

Well, here's a written review instead, just finished about an hour ago.

Levenger Blue Bahama cartridge ink, pretty snazzy Arizona turquoise-like color too!

Enjoy!

“I view my fountain pens & inks as an artist might view their brushes and paints.

They flow across paper as a brush to canvas, transforming my thoughts into words and my words into art.

There is nothing else like it; the art of writing and the painting of words!”

Thanks for the review! Now I'll have to break down and open my bottle and give it a try!

Just tried this ink and I love it! I ordered a bottle because I wanted an ink that resembled Swisher’s Nantucket Blue, which is no longer available. It flows well in the 3 pens I’ve tried with it, a F, M, and stub, and doesn’t feather on Rhodia, Staples sugarcane, or Tomoe River paper. I wish it shaded more, though. It has moderate shading in the stub. I can live without the shading, though, because I love the color -- a clear, jewel-like, happy summer color.

I’m glad I decided to wander through the older ink reviews to fine something new.
