Sheaffer Purple

Lovely purple ink.

Not really dark.

Sort of changes color from wet to dry. A bit more dramatic than I like but still very pretty.

Wet it looks similar to Iroshizuku Murasaki Shikibu. Even dry they look very similar.

 

Flow seems good from the two pens I've put it in: a platinum 3776 SF, and Conway Stewart Churchill with medium point.

 

Dries pretty quick. No clue about water resistance since I don't dunk my sketchbooks in water. Coffee maybe, but hopefully that won't happen.

 

A fair amount of shading, especially from the wet Churchill nib. Have seen only a hint of feathering on cheaper copy paper, and enough bleed through with the Churchill so that I wouldn't want to write on the back. On the nicer papers a little bleed through with the Churchill again, but only with Rhodia. Tomoe and the HP did just fine.

 

I think that covers everything. Probably not though.
