Thanks for the review. Definitevely a must.

Just curious. The numbers from the color picker are obtained just by inspection or some other more sophisticated method?

Hmm... your sample / bottle is greener than mine. Thanks for the great review.

Mine is almost black! Like Noodler's El Lawrence or Burma Road Brown....

Wonder what would happen if I diluted it a bit.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Interesting. I just started using my sample of El Lawrence, expecting it to be a black with some greenish tint when shading, and found it isn't black at all. On every paper I've tried, it's a dark olive green.

Key word being 'almost...'

I loaded a purple Hero (359, is it?) with this Stipula Musk Green as one of my trio of Halloween pens. 'I don't like it,' I muttered, and yet every time I needed to jot something down, I reached for that pen. It grew on me.

Knowing that how an ink looks is deeply influenced by nib, feed, and paper, I'm probably going to experiment with finding the best combo for this.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

But my El Lawrence isn't even "almost" black. It's nowhere in the neighborhood of black. It's just olive.

Not to run the thread off the rails. I was just surprised at how not-black it was when I tried it, so I'm wondering if that's atypical.

Must be a different batch from mine. For me El Lawrence is dark greyish-brown with just a hint of green. It's an ink I didn't think I'd like until I saw a review of it a couple of years ago -- and just kept staring at the scan and going back and staring some more.

As for the Stipula Musk Green, thanks to Morbus Curiositas for a very comprehensive review. I'll admit that I don't like this color green at all. But reviews of inks I don't want are as useful as those of inks I'm interested in.
