Parker Quink Blue-Black

got a bottle of Parker Quink Blue-Black yesterday i filled my Sheaffer Targa with it to make a sample for you guys, i used cheap paper as always :), well i cant really tell if the ink gots a good flow since im using a Sheaffer Targa -wet writer- but i tried to make it skip by making fast lines and acually it did in like 2% of the lines -for me its not skipping since i was making these lines really fast and maybe its the cheap paper-, when it comes to the color its pretty nice when you write slow ''kinda dark with nice shades, but when it comes to fast writing and keep in mind im using a wet pen it becomes light....

It's not a bad ink. It quite interesting as it isn't blue- black , it is more of a teal colour. I used to own a bottle but I ended up giving it to my dad as I wasn't using it that much as I prefer a more true blue black that J.herbin offer's in it's Bleu Nuit in.

Pelikan 4001 BB is a true blue-black (no hint of teal) and has very good water resistance. Try it if you can.

Would call it Dark Blue, definitely not Blue - Black IMO anyway.

I agree that this is a very light ink for a blue black but I've always found it to be visually appealing and very reliable so very suitable for office use. I've been using it since the 1960's and often use it to test vintage pens.
