I am now replacing every word with "Iroshizuku". You're looking very Iroshizuku today! Iroshizuku to you too!

Nice! I'm not sure I'd want to write long passages with it, but as an accent color it would be great. It looks like more of a "cool" orange than I thought it would be. I like orange but prefer cool colors and that is really hard to find.

Thank you for posting reviews. Reviews take a little time to do, but many of us use them when determining what inks to try and buy. We appreciate your efforts.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I love Iroshizuku inks, but this one is a little too light and bright for me. I feel like I need to put on my sunglasses.

Franklin-Christoph, Italix, and Pilot pens are the best!
Iroshizuku, Diamine, and Waterman inks are my favorites!

Apica, Rhodia, and Clairefontaine make great paper!

Nice review. First thing I thought of right off the bat was Apache (who doesn't?). But your feeling of "more sleek, understated and unassuming"... I couldn't agree more with you.

I love Apache Sunset so I've been somewhat tempted by this Iroshizuku version - if it's right to call it that. The shading does look nice. I like these colour inks for travel journalling, especially if I happen to be somewhere very sunny and warm.

Nice review. I love this kind of orange but I wonder whether Apache Sunset or Yu-Yake is better in general.

Better in what regard?

I like the hint of red in there. It soothes the otherwise sharp tinge of orange.

In a world where there are no eyes the sun would not be light, and in a world where there were no soft skins rocks would not be hard, nor in a world where there were no muscles would they be heavy. Existence is relationship and you're smack in the middle of it.

Better in what regard?

may be in shading, bleeding, featuring and drying times

I've tried both.

In my experience, Apache Sunset wins at shading, definitely. Yu-Yake shades too, just not as boldly.

Both are equal in terms of bleeding.

No clue what featuring is.

I find Apache Sunset takes slightly longer to dry, compared to Yu-Yake.

I guess it's because of the saturation...

I take my class notes and write my problem sets with it. I don't mind. However I can't vouch for my grader though. He might not be amused... I like to look at it after I write. It's so pretty.
