Graf Von Faber Castell Hazelnut Brown

Here is (if my picture show...) a little review (my first one) of the new Graf von Faber Castell ink: Hazelnut brown,selled in 75ml inkpot for 30€ so in a range of price comparable to the iroshizuku (less expensive tough).

Nice review! :-) That brown is exactly what I would expect from something called hazelnut. It would be interesting to see how it does in a flex pen, since I think that really tends to bring out the shading in any ink.

sorry i don't have any flex pen so won't be able to do it but if someone feel to do it....

thanks for sharing. i see rusty-red shade to the brown. at least on my screen it seems that way. still a nice color though.

I'm a big fan of the new GvFC inks, and Hazelnut Brown is the daily ink in my M400 tortoise.

I like that shade! The only brown I have right now is some Private Reserve Sepia.

Crass, looks almost like a historical manuscript number. E.g. like Noodler's Galileo Manuscript Brown (an FPN exclusive to be sure but I don't know if it's still available).

Thanks for the review, and a great first one at that. Been debating between getting a bottle of this or Montblanc Toffee Brown - might go with the MB first, but will definitely get a sample of Hazelnut.
