I have in recent years discovered a fondness for pink inks. This one is really nice, but I'm not sure I prefer it over Kosumosu.

There isn't a lot of shading where the ink pools ...

It's great on all the papers I tried.

Overall, I definitely like this ink. But I wish it had more shading and some sheen.

I like it too - the orange tones with the pink. Ordered Kosumosu yesterday from your review of it. Thanks!

I really enjoy your reviews. Just my opinion but could you in the future state the pen and nib you using? I for one would be interested in knowing this.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

As standard practice, I never use anything with less than a M nib for reviews. I don't think people can see the true colour of an ink unless you use M+. I'll try to remember to write the pen down, but the reviews is not the place I track that information. I have a list I keep that give names of pens, inks, and fill date, so I typically don't bother with the pen I'm using in the reviews.

Love your sheets!

Have you tried Diamine Flamingo Pink? It's one of my favorites - has a bit of an orange undertone to it.

Seconded! And I'm going crazy trying to find out the notebook that you use and other paper snippets (which is way cool how you do!) B)

Edit: I love the look of this pink too. I'm a big Sailor fan as well, but Sailor Peche wasn't what I expected. Koubai might be the "one".

I'll try to write what pens I've used going forward. And since you aren't the first person to ask me this, I'm going to post some information in inky thoughts and then maybe link it to my signature.

Wh... wow. I'm in awe of your sheets. Such a good way to do them.

I shall start, and someday, when I grow up, I shall be like you.

Pentulant - I had a bottle of Flamingo pink, but I gave it away because it had suspect floating particles in it. I'm waiting until I have enough saved to get Deep Dark Purple from Cult Pens, and then I'm going to throw some more pinks and oranges onto the order. :)

Masque - those sheets are useful as well as pretty. When I had a mold outbreak, I used those sheets to trace the infection back to a certain pen, and then managed to quarantine all the inks it had touched, and disinfect all the pens that had touched the inks after the infected pen. I think things would have been much worse for my ink stash if I hadn't had these sheets!

I think I like Kosumosu better! It has a little extra something. Thanks for another lovely review. =)

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
