I've used Saddle Brown in a fine point Monteverde Prima and in a medium Parker Urban. What can you say, it's brown ink... I will say that in my experience with it I've never had any problems with flow or hard starts.

The above image was with a syringe. I decided to try a wash with a paint brush. BTW, notice the orange bleed through.
