Another Akkerman. Another nice ink. And another shout out to amberleadavis as thanks!

This one has nice shading. It's a saturated, deep purple. Still a bright color. Has some nice shading. And good flow. A wet flowy ink.

If Akkerman is indeed the same as Diamine ink -- which is still in the mystery closet for now -- this one looks close to Amethyst, Lavender, or my guess would be Imperial Purple.

The ink may be made by Diamine, but most find it better and a slightly a different color, with less feathering.

Akkermann inks are on my wish list, in spite of the big bottle, where Diamine is not.

I plan to get the #15 Violet when I'm there but this looks to be a good colour too.

This is a beautiful color and when I receive letters from others written in it, I am surprised to find that it has a sheen. I've never noticed a sheen when I used it, but it's there on the letters I have gotten. It's a beautiful color. On a cost per ML average, the Akkerman inks are a steller buy.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
