Man, I never wanted this before but now that you've raised the question, I'm dying to know myself!

6/8 Edelstein Amber

2/8 Iroshizuku Yama Budo

Thanks! I've not been brave enough to try mixing different inks before so please forgive my ignorance, nothing goopy forms when you mix these inks over any length of time does it?

This is just a serving suggestion. I've not actually done this. But it should be close.

(If you're concerned with goopy things you might want to keep some holy water around.)

Awww, and here I was about to ask for pix....

Although given the inks involved, it would appropriate to emulate rose gold just for the prices....

I, too, suddenly want this color.

Although I think that ink mixture might be problematic. Aren't Iroshizuku inks usually basic?

D'ancre was the color I was going to suggest.

Platinum Pigmented Sepia is another, but it has a bit more brown in it.

It's that sheen of gold that is missing, though.

Curious to see where this discussion will lead!

Rouille d'Ancre's certainly the closest I own (*LOVE* that ink). I suppose something similar with sheen is just too much to hope for. :(

After much experimentation and changing the proportions in increments only an ant could fathom I give you this image. The photo does not do the color justice. It was written with a glass nib. A fountain pen nib in B or BB would reveal more the subtleties and shading of the blend. I ended up using the rest of the ink for some art projects which I can post once they are complete.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
