Happy Holidays to all the FPN Family

Here's a Holiday wish that everyone in the FPN "family" has a safe and Happy Holiday. May the coming year be a prosperous one for you and your families!

And may your stocking hold a new fountain pen or bottle of ink (there, now it's on topic!). ;)

Optimists are always disapointed when things don't work out. Pesimists never are since they expected it. That's why pesimists are happier.

I'd like to add my very best wishes to the wonderful FPN folks I've met while visiting here. The forum feels like family.

I hope everyone has a truly happy and safe holiday.

Gerry

PS: Special because of the weather - please take care out there with all this snow, storms, freezing rain and ice. While the mission to get that last minute gift, or cream for the coffee may seem to be urgent at the moment, it's not necessarily worth the risk of mixing with the other frantic drivers out there (Gerry, speaking from experience with the car laid up in the body shop for a couple of weeks).

Thanks Mr. Inky!

Happy holidays to everyone.

now I just need a kitty with a santa hat. :P

ps. to Gerry - we are actually having very light flurries here in SE TX! okay, so it lasted like ten minutes and I didn't manage to get pics to send to the local weather station. Dog didn't know what it was.

but no driving for us for the next couple of days. sit and home and "Let it sorts snow..."

Best wishes from us down here on "Lawn Guyland" --

May your fountain of joy (and not your fountain pen) overflow;

May your New Year be bountiful and p(l)entiful;

And may all your wishes come true, especially if you're wishing for Peace on Earth and Good Will Toward Men and Women.

It's my joy and pleasure to have found this forum!

For Christmas...

I wish happiness and good health upon everyone...

I wish that the coming year brings peace and prosperity to all...

I wish peace upon those Canadian soldiers and peacekeepers who will not be at home to celebrate Christmas as they strive to give peace to others...

I wish that everyone has the merriest of Christmases and that you awake to full stockings tomorrow morning...

Don't forget to leave out the milk and cookies...

Happy Holidays

And a rather belated Merry Christmas to all of you!

(I've been away from my computer for the long holiday weekend.)

      Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

      It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

      Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

      Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

      @asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
