Cohiba Behike Fountain Pen Storage Case

My first Cigar Case.

Description:

Cohiba Behike 56 is an expensive cigar and the case (perhaps "Humidor" is the better description) reflects the quality. The case is lacquered, with a felt bottom, and has magnets embedded within the wood panelling to close the lid with a satisfying "snick."

Materials:

£1,199 - Box of Cohiba Behike 56 cigars. (£3 empty.)

£ 3 - Bolt of Burgundy-coloured felt.

£ 1 - Metre length of 1cm dowel rod.

---------

£ 7 - Total cost.

Construction time totalled half an hour, utilising only a scalpel, a set square, a handsaw, PVC glue..
..and a Lamy 5mm 2000 mechanical pencil integral to the construction yet unforgivably overlooked for the final photograph.

Thank you for sharing your project; it is a very handsome case & I applaud your efforts to make it as nicely fitted as you did.

I am sure it was worth the extensive effort required to smoke all those cigars to attain the box; equally thoughtful of you to offer the alternative for us who aren't willing to "go the extra mile," to get the handsome box!

That is an excellent conversion.

For someone with your expertise to laud my amateurish effort with such praise is infinitely charitable, and I thank you for it.
