Question About Snorkel Tube Feed Insert

I recently acquired a lot of 5 Sheaffer snorkel tube feed inserts (secondary/primary? feed) hoping to replace a damaged one in my Sheaffer Snorkel Admiral, but they don't appear to be the correct ones. They are semi-circular in cross section, have a tiny groove running the length of the flat side, but do not have the slit on one end. Even by eyeball they appear slightly too thick and too short, measuring 2 x 37mm. Do anyone know what these are? I don't think they're what I was looking for.

A "tip dip" feed as used in the Craftsman/Cadet pens from the '50's/60's.

Thank you!

Next question...

Is there any way I can get a replacement feed for a Snorkel, or will I have to cannibalize another non-woking Snorkel?
