Italian Leather 5 Pen Case

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone. I picked up this 5 pen case a few weeks ago and like it so much that I thought I would share it with you all. It is a Rustic Italian Leather http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff451/ChiTown51/5PenCase001.jpg Lined with a patterned, Chenille fabric. http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff451/ChiTown51/5PenCase002.jpg. It holds 5 pens, the size of a Visconti Ink Pot or a Mont Blanc 149 with plenty of room. It even has room for a little note book. http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff451/ChiTown51/5PenCase003.jpg It is approximately, closed, 6 3/4" tall, fully opened 14" Long and 4 1/2" wide aproximately. It is such a nice soft leather that it's not even funny! I am so excited to have this and I have others but none have turned me on like this one does. I picked it up from Renaissance-Art.com (no Affilation) just a VERY satisfied customer! I ordered it on a Sunday and rec'd it Tuesday. I have to admit I laugh everytime I think about their warranty: Arthur says that even if your dog eats it he will replace it free, well I have two dogs, but I hope they don't eat it as my pens will be inside.

The stuff on their website looks quite interesting... but I couldn't find anything there even approaching a pen case. What was it called? (or how did you find it on the site)

When you go to renaissance-art.com the pen case is on the main page. You have to click on the picture for it to open up to get the details of it. Look at my first picture and that is the same picture that you will see on the main page of Renaissance art.

Thanks a lot for sharing. Could you please confirm that it can hold 5 MB149 at a time without cramping? I was looking for something like it.

Hi, while I don't have 5 MB 149's to put in there to try it out, I can say that I have one and it fits very easily. Later today I will be posting more pictures with pens in the slots to show how they all fit and I will pick the largest pens I have, that will fit, incl. the MB 149.

Thanks... Searching their site for anything that said "pen" didn't work, but clicking on that home page picture brought up three 'adventure writer pouches' including that one: http://www.renaissance-art.com/Prod412/Product.aspx for US$127.95 Too bad my birthday is months away, otherwise I know what I'd ask to get :-)

Did you click on the picture to get the details on the Pen Case?

Here are pic's showing the 5 pen case Full of Large Pens, The pens from Left to right are; Visconti Metroplis, Visconti Luigi Einaudi, MB 149, Think Dr. Seuss and and 1920's AUX. There is also room in the pen case for my little note book which is in there with these 5 pens. None of the pens had to be jammed in there.

Yes they take PayPal , call and talk to Arthur, the owner and he will guide you on how to do the PayPal deal. That's how I paid.

That is exactly what I have been searching for for years! Something that holds four or five large pens with a bit of room to spare. It looks very well made (as I would expect--it's from Renaissance Art! Yay!).

By the way, what kind of little notebook are you using? It looks like it matches your pen case.

I don't know the name of the little note book, but i picked it up from Renaissance-art. Call there and speak to Arthur, the owner, related to the little book, as it is not on their site anywhere. I paid around 14.00 dollars for it, and it fits perfectly! Plus you can get refills thru R-A.

Ha, Ha isn't that the way it always works. Well the good thing about these pens cases is that they are not going anywhere, like they do at an auction. Arthur is a patient man and when you are ready he will make you one just for you!

  • 2 weeks later...

oh, I like how the pens can fit into the slots without having to clip them over the outside.
