Hello,

I am a bit late, but anyway. This is the last model of high quality fountain pen made by the brand Columbus, before competition from ballpoints in the 60s forced the company to lower production costs. Since then they have made cheap, school pens only.

I have this very same model but in green, and mine is from the 50s. At first there were fancy colors other than black, like green, burgundy, blue... but from the 60s on all were black. My pen is from around 1954. It has a lovely flexible nib and the combination of emerald green with gold works stunning.
