Usa College Ruled Comp Books

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

Found a stack of composition books at Office Max

yesterday marked as their own brand and say "Made in USA" on

the back cover info. They are college ruled and have attractive

plain color covers (oatmeal, dark teal, dark green, burgundy...)

$2.99. The paper felt smooth, although fairly thin. Just

wondered if any of you had any experience with these?

I bought one last year, and they didnt work well with my fountain pens. However, I purchased the Norcom brand( made in Brazil) comp books at WalMart, for 99c each, that work really well with fountain pens. Even with a couple of my very wet writing fountain pens.

RLTodd- of the Norcom brand Comp Books I tried, the Brazilian-made ones were the only ones that worked well with fountain pens.

Not all Norcoms are the same

I recently bought a ton of college-ruled (70-sheet, perforated) notebooks from Walmart for 25 cents each. My fountain pens write beautifully on this paper. I just checked and these are Norcom, made in Brazil. I don't know if they still have them for 25 cents, but worth a look.
