Lovely review and a great hand! I've been thinking about this ink for a while, and I think you've inspired me to take the plunge.

Flow good, ooze bad!

Great review and great-looking ink! I've got a sample on the way from Pear Tree Pens, and I look forward to finding out if the difference in nib width and color is as astonishing as your scan shows -- those lines look worlds apart!

Thanks for the review and scan, and let me echo Prof Mike in saying that your hand looks terrific, too.

Thaks for the great review. I really like this ink. It has been the only ink in my Yellow Toledo since I got it in January.

Great flow, color and shading.

Don't feel bad. I'm old; I'm meh about most things.

Thanks for a great review - but then I am already a fan of this ink!! It is in my Nakaya 'Shu' large cigar shape pen with a music nib that puts this lovely ink right through all its paces!!!

Each day is the start of the rest of your life!

Make it count!!!

And yet another fan here. That italic nib certainly shows of SRB's best qualities. Nice job!

Thanks for the kind words folks. Another round of pro bono ink reviews are slated for my broad nib examination. :)

Thanks very much for this review - I have this ink, and hadn't been that impressed, but now I see I need to put it in a pen with a broader nib!

I chose my user name years ago - I have no links to BBS pens (other than owning one!)

Great review, and I love seeing your penmanship with a broad nib - at first blush I was expecting an italic. I don't know why, but I'd always been locked into italic nibs when trying old english-style lettering, you certainly opened new possibilities for me!

Thanks!

Finally he said, "Well, the hours are good..."

..."So the hours are pretty good then?" [Ford] resumed.

The Vogon stared down at him as sluggish thoughts moiled around in the murky depths.

"Yeah," he said, "but now you come to mention it, most of the actual minutes are pretty lousy."

I like this stuff. Your writing sample is great.
