Hi pen folks,

 

Please list your favorite online FP sellers, including the ones on eBay you like. I sometimes get stuck in a rut and forget there are other sellers than the 2 or 3 I use by force of habit. Don't worry about duplication. I'll take care of those.

 

No matter how many times I remind myself to go elsewhere, I usually end up back in the same old places.

For online sellers, (not affiliated with any of them, unfortunately for me) I have been very happy with the following:

isellpens.com is a great low-cost retailer

Swisher Pens is where I purchased my Taccia Swisher exclusive, and they have some exclusive Noodler's Inks also.

Pendemonium has very good things to sell, but I have purchased from them only at a pen show.

 

On ebay, I have had good success with the following:

Speerbob has been my source for many Reform and Asian pens. He recently relocated from Thailand to the US, and reopened his eBay store.

Temecula Pens has a nice selection of various kinds of pens and accessories at great prices,

Go to School 888 has some excellent prices on Asian pens and accessories. Shipping is 2-3 weeks from China, but what I got came well packed and undamaged.

For paper, particularly Apica, Molly Taylor at Take Note Writing Gear has the goods, and is fairly priced, with fast, efficient shipping.

 

I wish I could find a source of ink which didn't cost as much to ship as it does to purchase the ink!

I agreed with Emma about Classic Fountain Pens. John Mottishaw and his staff are very friendly and want to make sure you get exactly the pen you want! I've bought a couple pens from them and have been very happy with the experience.

peartreepens - Good service

pengallery - I was wary of using an overseas seller, but they have great deals on Sailors. The shipping was fast and reasonable. They also sell on ebay.

Jet Pens -- I don't use them much, but they carry preppies cheaper than any other place I've seen, including the preppy brush pens, highlighters, and fountains.

 

Penwa-- Not the greatest selection in the world, but they often have good prices on Waterman goodies.

 

Pear Tree Pens -- best-known for their ink samplers, this seller has one of the most pleasant to use sites of any pen dealer I've seen.

 

All of my other favorites have been mentioned already, but I hope those additions help.

Try ordering ink from pendemonium. I order all of my ink from them. They have the lowest and fairest shipping charges of any online dealer I have found.

Larry Van Dyke on ebay does a wonderful job restoring vintage pens. I love his work.

One that I dearly loved that is on sabbatical is Penseller.com. I always had great experience with Weaver.

I have to put in a shout-out to Temecula Pens on eBay also. I bought two NOS Parkers from him last week. Fantastic prices, good value (threw in converters for cheap and came in nice boxes), great communication and extremely fast shipping.

 

But he's dangerous. The prices are so great I can't stay away...
