I have a pen that I would like to have the gold bits made silver. I know the nib and clip are no problems because they can be removed easily BUT what about the cap rings? Can they be removed? Can they be plated without removing them and destroying the cap? Who can do such work?

Hi, Siv. Both Dillon Ang and Daniel Kirchheimer do the kind of replating you're talking about. I've been a satisfied customer of both. Take care,

David

PS Trim rings can be rhodinated whilst on the cap without issue. I've had it done a few times.
